Hudson Metalwork Inc has been in business in the Colorado Springs area since 1981. the company maintains a small work force of machnists, toolmakers, engineers and support personnel.
The story of our founding
Jim Hudson, a veteran, founded Hudson Metalwork Inc. in 1981, in his garage, in Cascade, Colorado. Using the experience working at Command Science, and various other shops in Colorado Springs. Jim created a business that developed a niche in the tool and die trade where he often solved problems, designed machines, and built exceptional tooling. With his leadership Hudson Metalwork, Inc. has become a multifaceted, all in one machine shop, that can tackle a wide variety of problems with exceptional quality.

The Future of Hudson Metalwork, Inc. is to continue the Colorado legacy of Jim through his grandson Jared Ferguson. Jared’s goal is to modernize a business practices, while maintaining longstanding values. As well as modernizing equipment and capabilities to meet and exceed the demands of our customers.
